On May 16, 2010, I was in an automobile accident resulting in nerve damage and severe whiplash. Almost immediately, I was introduced to massage therapy. I was in my 6th month of recovery when I first met Marty. At the time my injuries had only improved 30% and I still had horrible pain in my hands and arms. My first appointment with Marty was a sigh of relief. Marty was very comforting and understanding of my situation while maintaining the utmost professionalism. Not only did he make sure I was comfortable with every technique, but he also allowed me to give my input on ideas that had worked or not worked in the past. Marty made sure he knew every detail about my injuries and history so he could use every piece of his knowledge possible. I am blessed to have met Marty because my injuries are doing so much better thanks to his healing touch. He truly is a gifted massage therapist and makes you feel that you are his most important client. Being an avid runner and cyclist has significant fitness benefits and I enjoy working out to stay fit. I have also come to realize the importance of deep tissue massage over the past couple of years. Marty does a great job keeping my muscles relaxed and working out the trouble spots. His professionalism is second to none. First let me start by saying that I was nervous about receiving a massage especially from a male. I have always had female massage therapists. Marty made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I could tell that this was a career of his choice and that he was very much into his work. He did not view massage as a job but, a way to connect with people and assist them with ailments, aches, and pains. If you do not have any issues massage is a great way to relax and "treat yourself."

After going to Marty I noticed something that I never had before with a massage therapist. He never did the same massage twice. In the past I could give you step by step where the massage would start, progress, and end. Marty always communicates with me to see if there is a problem area that I would like him to concentrate on. If there are not any issues, each massage is different. I was referred to Marty by my Chiropractor and won't forget the day I first met him. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and was being treated and recommended for massage therapy.
